Note to members: 13 December 2018: Christmas Party 12 noon (last meeting for the year). Please sign up to bring something to share – there is a list at Thursday meetings.
Thursday meetings resume on 17th January 2019 (Tuesday weaving group resumes on 22 January 2019).
We are a friendly group in the beautiful Hawkesbury district of New South Wales.
Our informal meetings are held each Thursday at the North Richmond Community Centre, William St., North Richmond from 12 noon to 3 pm.
- We meet 10am – 3pm on the 2nd & 4th Thursday in the month. On the 2nd Thursday the weavers have a meeting before the main club meeting and on the 4th Thursday there is usually a workshop to learn new skills (anyone not involved can still come early to work on their own projects).
- The weaving group meets on Tuesday evening from 6 – 9 pm. New members are welcome.
Please see the calendar page for details of workshops and other events.

Our group shares skills and information on all aspects of spinning, weaving, dyeing, felting, knitting and crochet.
We aim to increase our knowledge and interest in textiles. Members use natural
fibres such as wool, alpaca, mohair, cotton, silk etc and often experiment with manufactured and synthetic fibres (bamboo, soy, tencel etc), either in natural colours or hand dyed, blending for interesting textures.
The group demonstrates its skills at many local events including participation at the annual Castle Hill and the Hawkesbury shows.
Our group is affiliated with The Hand Weavers and Spinners Guild of NSW Inc
